An old world look with modern sensibilities, the glass Wardian case is crafted with 3mm thick glass and lead-free solder to protect you and the environment. The glass top is appointed with brass filigree trim and ball finial. The base is made of metal with a dark gray powder coat finish and has ball feet.
Create your enclosed garden by placing the glass top on the base after planting your choice of plants with soil or moss and enjoy watching your compact ecosystem grow. Plants have been known to thrive for many years in enclosed terrariums with no maintenance at all. On the rare occasion that your plants need a little ventilation the glass house lifts off in one piece for easy planting or watering. When finished, place it on the inner rims of the base, which includes a plastic liner. Makes a great gift, but we know you'll want one of your own, as well.
